Sondra Smith

Sondra Kicklighter Smith, 78, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at her residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born September 21, 1943 to Ted and Leila Jones Kicklighter and lived in this area most of her life. Sondra was an Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner Representative alongside her husband, Jack for many years and was a homemaker. She loved to play the piano and sing, play cards, watch soap operas, to cook and spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sondra was a member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church where she liked to sing in the choir and was a member of the Adult Sunday School class. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nancy Kennedy, Maurie Devane, children, Ralph Smith, Mark Smith, Jeffery Smith and husband, Jasper “Jack” Smith.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Donna Jordan (Phillip) of Glennville, Gerorgia

Grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Kaitlyn Dubberly (CJ), MacKenzie Jordan,
Tyler Jordan

Great Grandchildren, Ella Jae Brown and Jacklyn Dubberly

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder Clay Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
