Steven Owens

Steven Mark Owens, 43 passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012. He was born in Orlando Florida living most of his life in Long County. He was a Graduate of Glennville High School and was employed as a mechanic at MATES at Fort Stewart. He served in the Georgia National Guard and loved golf, NASCAR, hunting, fishing and was a devoted Florida Gator Fan. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Ruby & Ben McCumber, George M. Fennell, Lete & Addie Owens.
He is survived by, Mother, Gail Fennell Owens of Claxton, Georgia
Father, Larry (Mina) Owens of Orlando, Florida
Brother, Michael (Sue) Owens of Orlando, Florida
Step Brother and Sisters, Ricky High of Jacksonville, Florida
Sherri Futrell of Sanford, Florida
Diana Owens of Orlando, Florida
Aunts, Joyce and Helen Fennell of Glennville, several other aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. James M. Holland officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
