Syble Tootle

Syble Durrence Tootle, 86, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at her home Glenvue Health and Rehab. She was born in Mendes Georgia December 21, 1925 to Raleigh and Jewel Guy Durrence and lived in Tattnall County all of her life. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she served as church clerk for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Braves fan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raleigh and Jewel Durrence, loving husband of 55 years, Cecil Martin Tootle, siblings Merilees Durrence Waters and Hugh Durrence .

She is survived by,

Daughter and Son in-law, Donna and Anthony Boyett of Reidsville

Sons and Daughter in-law, Cecil Kline Tootle of Reidsville
Cary Martin and Debra Tootle of Reidsville

Sister and Brother in-law, Etrenda and John Swan of Jacksonville, FL.

Grandchildren, Chari (David) Karinshak, Tiffany Tootle, Shawn (Shanna) Tootle, Nancy (Jim) Sharpton, Landon (Tori) Boyett, Shanna (Chuck) Reynolds. Great Grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren and Ben Karinshak, Kayla and Austin Tootle, Madison Sharpton, Sarah Beth, Anna and Landry Boyett, and Reagan Reynolds. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin 6:00 PM, Friday, August 17, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Charles "Bucky" Strickland and Rev. Doug Weisel officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
