Cobbtown- Mr. Talmadge Green 85, of Cobbtown died Sunday evening at Community Hospice in Vidalia. The Tattnall County native has lived here all his life. He attended Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Collins. He was a farmer and a carpenter, who thoroughly enjoyed hunting; along with gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Lillie Mae Morgan Green, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Anderson Green of Cobbtown, daughters Sylvia Green (Don) See of Cobbtown, Martha Green Meeks of Collins, and Melanie Green Walker of Reidsville. Sons Greg (Denise) Green, and Derald (Lynn) Green all of Cobbtown. He is also survived by his sisters Josephine (Henry) Walling of Graniteville, SC, Jean (Fred) Meeks of Collins; brothers Eddie (Sherry) Green, Wade (Ann) Green and Benny (Jean) Green all of Ft. Mills, SC. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, and several great-grand children.

Funeral services will be conducted at Cobbtown First Baptist Church, Wednesday December 17, 2014 2:00pm with the Rev. Benny Green officiating. The body will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 16, 2014 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Cobbtown Chapel.

Burial will be at Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown.
