Terry L. Burkhalter, 58, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. He was born in Claxton, Georgia, on July 19, 1955 to Herbert and Johnnie Strickland Burkhalter and lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a 1973 graduate of Glennville High School and was employed with Georgia National Guard for 19 l/2 years with MATES at Ft. Stewart and was employed as a truck driver for the last few years. He was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Cindy Burkhalter Block.

19 Nieces and Nephews, 17 Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews and 4 aunts also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Miller and Dennis Stanfield officiating. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
