Theresa Ann Demott

Theresa Ann Demott, known affectionately as "Teri", passed away on June 12, 202, at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton Georgia. She was born on August 26, 1954, in Anchorage, Alaska to Craig and Mildred Strickland and lived there all of her life.

Teri lived a fulfilling life as a retired salesclerk in restaurant sales, where she exhibited a remarkable talent for connecting with others. Described as someone who could accomplish more over the phone than most could in person, her skills and dedication left a lasting impact on all those she encountered.

Her loyal, kind, and generous nature endeared her to many. Whether it was reeling in a halibut bigger than herself while fishing or effortlessly creating beautiful crafts through paper crafts, knitting and crocheting, Terrie's hobbies reflected her creativity and passion for life.

Teri will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, John Demott of Ludowici, Georgia; her children Melanie Turner of Texas, Ashley Johnston of Anchorage, Alaska, and Robert Demott of Anchorage, Alaska; as well as her brother Larry Johnston of Abingdon, Virginia. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with her.
