Thomas "Tommy" Futch 78, passed away Saturday March 24, 2012 after a short illness. He was born in Long County, March 23, 1934 to M.F. Sr. and Sarah Dunham Futch and was a lifelong resident of Long and Tattnall Counties. He was self Employed in the Forestry Industry and a truck driver for many years before retiring. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and had many friends. He was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack Futch and Harry Futch.
He is survived by, Wife, Glenda Futch of Glennville
Sons, Timothy Futch and Dana Futch both of Glennville
Brothers, M.F. (Jenny) Futch of Shellman Bluff
Ed (Sybil) Futch of Glennville
Sisters, Eloise Dasher of Glennville
Frances Chambless of Ludowici
Louise (Billy) Sikes of Glennville
Sisters in law, Wanda Futch, and Wanda Bland Futch both of Ludowici
Grandchildren, Josh Futch, Liza Kennedy and Austin Futch
Special Sister in law, Dawn (Mike) Reddish, niece and nephew, Haley and Luke Reddish
Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 26, 2012 from the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
