Toy L. Geiger, 83 passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Coastal Manor Nursing Home. The Tattnall County native had lived in this area all of his life. He was retired from Savannah Airport Commission. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ludowici.
Survivors include:
Wife of 59 years: Ruth O. Geiger of Glennville
Children:Kim (Freddie) Hall of Ludowici
Tommy (Barbara) Geiger of Reidsville
Gary "Knott" Geiger of Glennville
Son-in-Law:Lonnie (Linda) Hutcheson of Reidsville
Brother:Garis Geiger of Texas
Visitation will being at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. John Gladin officiating. Burial will follow in Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Rusty Hutcheson, Blaine Geiger, Tyler Hall, Lance Geiger, Michael Hall and David Garrason.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy & Patty Parker, Bobby Parker, Juanita Williams, Brian, Ashley & Ben Anderson.
Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel, in charge of the arrangements.
