Uriel D. Wallace, 88, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home in Milledgeville. He was born in Alcorn, Mississippi on March 3, 1923 to Rufus and Effie Wallace. He was a World War II Army Veteran and retired from Civil Service at Ft. Stewart. He was a member of Hinesville Baptist Church and an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
He is preceded in death by a son, Dennis Wallace.

Daughters:Mary Francis Baldwin of Olympia, Washington
Ann Nease of Mobile, Alabama
7 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors.
