Vera Strickland

Vera Swindell Strickland, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. The Long county native had lived in this area all of her life. She was an Avon representative for many years and was a homemaker and a member of First United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dewitt Strickland; two sons, Darvin and Dale Strickland; brother, Clyde Swindell; and grandson, Dana Foster.
