Virginia Craft

August 1, 1931 — April 27, 2012

Metter Virginia Faye Craft, 80, of Metter died Friday evening at The Medical College of Georgia. She was a native and life long resident of Candler County and the daughter of the late Lewis and Aileen Williams Braddy . She was an accomplished pianist- becoming church pianist at age 13. Her many interest in addition to music was sewing, painting , arts and crafts and being with family.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Ray Craft One son; Bradd (Peggy) Craft of Pooler, a brother; Lewis "Sonny" (Helen) Braddy of Metter, two grandchildren; Taylor Craft and Andrew Smith, one niece; Belinda B. (Bill) Warnell of Commerce , and one nephew; Butch (Katie) Braddy of Savannah. Funeral services for Virginia Faye will be conducted Monday morning 11:00 a.m. at Cool Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the
Metter Chapel.
