Virginia Durrence

Virginia Armstrong Durrence, 76, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at her residence under the care of her family and Hospice Advantage. The Montgomery Alabama native had lived in this area most of her life. She was employed with the Georgia Correctional Industries as a secretary and was a member of Reidsville United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge and Myrle Armstrong, Sister, Rosemary Armstrong Woffard, Brother, Gene "Sonny" Armstrong.
She is survived by, Children, Allen (Lu) Durrence of Claxton
Carole D. (Jackie) Hinson of Statesboro
Mark Armstrong (Linda) Durrence of Reidsville
Brother, W.T. "Bill" Armstrong of West Monroe, LA.
Grandchildren, Andrew Durrence, Allison D. (Mathew) Buck, Whitney Hinson, Kristin Durence, Sara Durrence, Madison Durrence.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev Marc Foster and Rev. Doug Walker officating. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
