Vivian Bacon

Vivian Allen Bacon, 91 passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Evans Memorial Hospital. The Tattnall County native had lived in this area most of her life and was a devoted wife and loving mother of five sons. She was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran and a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, W. A. Bacon and two sons, Willie Allen Bacon, III and Dale Donald Bacon.
Survivors include:
Sons:Edward Bacon (Kathy)
Kerry Bacon (Linda)
Kevin Bacon (Loretta)
Sister:Leona Sands
Six Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. David Sands officiating. Burial will follow in Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Brett Bacon, Brad Bacon, Jeremy Bacon, Doug Kangeter, Edward Bacon, Kevin Bacon and Kerry Bacon.
Remembrances: Staff of The Griffin House, 107 W. Liberty St. Claxton, GA 30417.
Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel in charge of the arrangements.
