Wayne Durden

Metter - Wayne "Lumpy" Durden, 50 of the Aline community died Friday at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Georgia. He was a retired farmer and of Primitive Baptist faith.

He is survived by two brothers; Onnie Durden of Friendswood, Texas, Coy (Cheese) Durden of Aline. One sister; Delores Collins of Aline.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Aline with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to funeral service. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.
