Metter- Wayne Hart, 68 of Metter died Saturday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. He was the owner/operator of Sikes Machine Shop in Metter, where he worked as a steel manufacturer, and welder. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Mount Shady Baptist Church. He was a member of the Olliff Town Hunting Club, and enjoyed fishing, growing a large garden; and most of all riding his golf cart with his best buddy Kojak.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Hart, son Roland (Melanie) Hart, and granddaughter Margo.

Visitation will be Monday evening Jun1 1, 2015 6pm-8pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Lott officiating.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday June 2, 2015 2:00pm at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes.
