Welton Jenkins

Welton Eric Jenkins, 58, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at his residence under the care of his family and Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born August 5, 1954 to E.K. and Betty Jenkins and lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a 1972 graduate of Glennville High School and owned and operated E.J. Family Timber Business. Eric was known for his strong work ethic, a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Glennville United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by son, Eric Embree Jenkins and parents, E.K. and Betty Jenkins.
He is survived by, Wife, Sherri Jenkins of Glennville
Children, Ander & Tracy Jenkins of Glennville
Elizabeth & Matt Hillman of Reidsville
Sister and Brother in law, Faye & Jerry Burkhalter of Glennville
Brothers and Sisters in law, Ronald & Vivian Jenkins of Millen
Mike Jenkins of Glennville
Stevie & Peggy Jenkins of Hinesville
Grandchildren, Ander and Tyler Jenkins, Brody, Embree and Tripp Hillman, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
