Glennville,
Willene Barnard Ray, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born on April 18, 1932, to Rev. Willie R. and Georgia Belle Kicklighter Barnard and a graduate of Glennville High School. She was a faithful Pastor's wife of 55 years and dedicated member of Poplar Head Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School Teacher, church clerk, sunshine lady, and cooked for numerous church functions. Loved by many who knew her, she was commonly known as Aunt Willene or Grandma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Wilton Ray; two infant sons; her parents, Rev. Willie R. and Georgia Belle Barnard; Brother, Herman Barnard and Sister, Mildred Thompson.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Tommy and Jeanette Ray of Glennville, GA.

Jessica and William Nasholts of Glennville, GA;
Rev. Joshua and Lacey Ray of Bethlehem, GA;

Great-Grandchildren Kaden, Kolby and Kyler Nasholts of Glennville, GA;
Benjamin, Hagan, and Parker Ray of Bethlehem, GA.
Brother-in-law Doyle and Jeannette Ray of Glennville, GA.
Sister-in-law Ann Barnard of Birmingham, AL.
Special friend and neighbor Martiel Brannen of Glennville, GA;
Several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Watermelon Creek Church Cemetery.
