Willene Rogers

.Willene Helen Moody Rogers, age 79 passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was born in Long County, Georgia October 19, 1933 to Horace and Idell Moody. She married William Alex "Billy" Rogers in January 1952 and lived in Tattnall County most of her life. Willene was a homemaker and an avid fisherman which was her favorite pastime. She enjoyed her family and always made sure there was plenty of food on the table. She was a member of Pigott Branch Baptist Church
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy; sisters, Lucille Mages and Vondelle Mullis and brother, Melvin Moody.

15 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Friday, August 9, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 10, 2013 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder Tom Sollosi and Dr. Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
