William H. "Buddy" Braddy Jr.

Augusta,GA- Entered into rest Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at MCG, Mr. William H. "Buddy" Braddy, 77.

Mr. Braddy was born in Winnsboro, SC, raised in Metter, GA and lived most of his life in Augusta. He taught school and coached in Harlem and Augusta, and retired from real estate sales. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Mr. Braddy was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Air Force.

Family members include his daughters: Susan Hedlund and Husband Eric of Grovetown, Melissa Powers and husband Eddie of Grovetown; sons Randy Braddy and Wife Michelle of Thompson, Ken Braddy of Thompson; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sister: Jean Sikes and husband Bobby of Metter, GA.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. John Barnes officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth St. NW, Washington, DC 20006-3517.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, 3:00 P.m., at the Kennedy-Morgan-Brannen Funeral Home Chapel in Metter.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
