William Cammack

William Earl Cammack, 80, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Affinis Hospice. He was born in Glennville, GA, January 3, 1938 to Curtis and Bonnie Cribbs Cammack and lived here all of his life. He was a 1956 graduate of Glennville High School, was a retired farmer that loved to plant and watch things grow. He was a founding member of Tattnall County Saddle Club and enjoyed barrel racing, horse riding, fishing and hunting. He was a loving caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a lifelong member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church where he served on many committees and was a deacon and adult Sunday school teacher for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Quinton Cammack, granddaughter, Bethany Cammack, sons in-law, Terry Burkhalter and Tyrone Proctor, special nephew, Gregory Cammack.

Thirteen Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Friday, October 19, 2018 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 10:00 am prior to the service to lie in state. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
