William Futch

Theron Futch, 84, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. The Tattnall County Native had lived in this area all of his life and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He and his wife owned and operated Futch's Store for many years and was a retired farmer and rural mail carrier. He was a member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and loved Square Dancing. He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Futch.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Katie Lee Bland Futch of Statesboro
Sister, Betty Kemp of Lyons
Brothers, Jeffery Futch of Ft. Myers FL.
Bill Futch of Jacksonville, FL.
Special Friends, Donny and Neva Collins and family of Statesboro
Grandsons, Jamie Futch, Eric Futch, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 5, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pineview Church Cemetery.
