William Hendrix

Shane Hendrix, 46, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville. He was born November 25, 1967 to Sammy and Gail Hendrix and lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a 1986 graduate of Glennville High School and a graduate of Swainsboro Technical College. He was self employed with Hendrix Painting and a member of the Battle Creek Hunting Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his boys during ballgames. He was a classic car lover, a loving son, husband, father, and brother. He attended Glennville First Baptist Church.
He is survived by:
Wife, Karla Hendrix of Glennville
Parents, Sammy & Gail Hendrix of Glennville
Sons, Will, Walt, & Waylon Hendrix all of Glennville
Brother, Mark Hendrix (Serenia) of Glennville
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Edwards and Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Battle Creek Church Cemetery.
