William Hernandez

William Hernandez, 80, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Carl Vinson Veterans Medical Center in Dublin. He was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and lived in Orlando Florida for many years moving to Glennville three years ago. He was retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant with 23 years of active service. He was a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran where he received many commendations and awards to include a Purple Heart and a Silver Star. He was a mason and a member of Caleb Butler Lodge F& A.M. in Ayer, Massachusetts.
He is survived by, Wife, Josefina Hernandez of Glennville
Daughters, Mayra Rodriguez (Edgar) of Glennville
Rosa A. Hernandez of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico
Son, Jose G. Hernandez (Yolanda) of Orlando, Florida
Sisters, Lydia Merced, Andrea Hernandez, and Iris Cruz
Brothers, Luis Hernandez and Jose A. Hernandez
Seven Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
