William Moody

W. Remer Moody, 86, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was born in Long County Georgia, January 29, 1926 to James Irvin and Katie Jane Johnson Moody. He worked in the Timber Industry and was a painter. He was an avid outdoors man and loved to hunt, fish and work with his sawmill. He was a member of Pigott Branch Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Cathy Moody Laughter.
He is survived by, wife of 66 years, Billie J. Moody of Ludowici, Georgia
Children, Gwen Tscherch of Jesup, Georgia
William & Vickie Moody of Gainesville, Georgia
Randy & Eilene Moody of Ludowici, Georgia
Brothers, Irvin W. Moody, Truman Moody both of Ludowici, Georgia
Eleven Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, January 28, 2013 at Pigott Branch Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Pigott Branch Church Cemetery. The body will be taken to the Church at 10:00 am, to lie in state.
