William Williams

William "Bill" Williams, 77, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at his residence. The Illinois native had lived in this area for the last 25 years, moving here from Orlando, Florida. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Navy veteran and a utilities lineman with Orlando Utilities for many years. He was an outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing and golf. He was of the Nazarene faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Williams and Dorothy Rowe Williams; and two brothers.
Survivors include:
Wife: Jeanette Webb Williams of Metter
Son: William R. Williams of Grand Junction, Colorado
Daughter: Leslie Williams of Metter
Sister: Sandy Denny of Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Step-children: Terry Webb, Tim Webb, Tyson Webb, Tom Webb Jr. and Tonga Webb
Seven Grandchildren: Ricky Williams (Jessica), Tiffany Carmickle (Seth), Pamela Burdick, Rachel Burdick, Billie Mae Williams, Kaylie Williams, Kylie Williams
Three Great-Grandchildren: Ariya Williams, Mason Carmickle and Avery Carmickle
Visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 4:00 at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Home. Services will be in Florida at a later date.
