Willie Joe Baker, 62, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Evans Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 16, 1952 in Glennville, Georgia and lived in this area all of his life. He was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church and was a self employed salvage operator. He is preceded in death by his wife, Katie Lee Baker.
He is survived by,
Mother, Juanita Baker Godley of Glennville, Georgia
Sister, Martha Joe Hencken (Calvin) of Miami, Florida
Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will be in Beards Creek Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
