Willie Marsh

Metter- Willie Eugene Marsh, 60 died early Tuesday morning at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. The Emanuel County native lived in Metter all of his life and was a member of Metter Freewill Baptist Church. He was a farmer and truck driver for Hendrix Produce and Candler Gin who worked very, very hard; and enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking. He is predeceased by His Parents Herman and Miriam Partridge Marsh, and Brother Henry Marsh.

Mr. Marsh is survived by His Wife Janet Ward Marsh of Metter, Daughters: Amber (Chris) Carroll of Metter, Samantha (Brian) Reeves of Baxley, and Mindy Marsh of Columbus, Ohio. Brothers: James (Renee) Marsh of Stilson, Rusty Marsh of Metter, and Donnie (Fulvia) Marsh of Metter. Sisters: Annie (Jerald) Powell of Cobbtown, Brenda (Lamar) Mercer of Metter, Frances (Chester) Flynt of Metter, Johnnie Lou (Ronny) Flynt of Metter, and Ellen Elmore of Metter. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday November, 9 2012 at 2pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Home Metter Chapel with Rev. Johnnie Beasley and Rev. Jessie Goodman officiating.

Burial will be private.
