Willie Joe Odom, 62 passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. He was born January 4, 1950 to Earl and Delphia Seckinger Odom and lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a retired School Teacher with Tattnall County Public School System teaching physical education, science, math and a football coach. He was a member of Georgia Association of Educators, Tattnall County Association of Educators and Tattnall Democratic Executive Committee. He was a member of Birdford Baptist Church.
He is survived by, Wife, Janice Odom of Glennville
Children, Angela Page of Jacksonville, FL.
Melvin & Wendi Ward of New Orleans LA.
Three Grandchildren, several cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 9, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Summers and Rev. Bill Eller officiating. Burial will be in Birdford Baptist Church Cemetery.
