Wilton Foster, 84, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of GHC Hospice. Wilton was born in Long County, Georgia, July 29, 1937 and lived in Glennville and Hinesville all of his life. He served in the Georgia National Guard for 13 years. Wilton was a barber with his father and brothers for many years and owned and operated the Western Sizzlin Restaurant in Hinesville for 23 years. After the Westen Sizzlin he started Izola’s Country Cafe with his family operating it for many years. He was a founding member of Glennville First United Pentecostal Church where he was a Sunday school teacher, served in many Leadership roles and a board member for over 50 years. Wilton loved his family, especially at Christmas, he was the biggest kid in the crowd. He enjoyed cooking, traveling with siblings, barbering and going to Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Revis and Izola Foster Blocker, wife, Paulene Strickland Foster, son, Dana Foster, sisters, Jewel Burgans, Elaine Blocker, brothers, Elton Foster, and Cecil Blocker.

Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Monday, October 4, 2021 at Glennville First United Pentecostal Church. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Glennville First United Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Revis Blocker Family Cemetery.
