Winfred Sean Davis, known affectionately as Sean, age 56 passed away, April 18, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Sean was born on July 17, 1967, in Jacksonville, Florida to Winfred William and Rhonda Kay Blevins Davis and grew up there.
His life was one marked by an unwavering commitment to service and a deep sense of humor that touched all those around him. Sean proudly served in the US Army for 15 years as a chemical ops specialist, with deployments to Iraq. He was stationed at various bases, including Ft. Bragg, Ft. Hood, and Ft. Stewart, where he dedicated himself to his country with honor and distinction.
Beyond his military career, Sean was a man of many passions. He found joy in tending to his garden, exploring new destinations with his beloved family, and building things. His fascination with big trucks was evident to all who knew him, reflecting his larger-than-life personality.
In addition to his hobbies, Sean was an active member of the Philadelphia Lodge #73, where he forged lasting friendships and contributed wholeheartedly to the community. His playful nature and selfless spirit earned him a reputation as a jokester who always put others before himself.
He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Justin Davis.
Sean leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will continue to resonate within the hearts of his surviving family members:

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Military honors and Masonic Rites.
